This Airbus A’int Going + Jets Match Made In Heaven

The saying “If It A’int Boeing It A’int Going” held true in this situation.

If It A’int Boeing It A’int Going

Delta acquired Airbus planes in the Northwest acquisition and they run some of these planes on the reported worst flight in the USA. I’ve had the pleasure opportunity to experience the worst US route on the Airbus, but not without a fair share of issues. I witnessed an Airbus in a mechanical delay with the engine “hood” up as seen in this picture below. That is never a good sign when you are trying to get to where you are going.

As a frequent traveler, it’s important to spot maintenance issues early, especially if you want to get where you are going. A friend recently told me “people act like sheep, most just sit there while I’m re-booking on the next flight” and this was certainly so true in this situation.

I usually stop by the gate a few minutes before boarding for a few reasons. Sometimes I get to see the pilot perform the walk around inspection. You can even get compensated by taking a bump to a later flight and get upgraded while you do it.

Jets Match Made In Heaven

While flying Delta Jets, I had the pleasure of trying a proven match made in heaven. The proven match is to combine biscoff cookies and nutella. This combination can be found in most Delta Sky Clubs and it hits the spot everytime.

Speaking of Jets, Antonio Cromartie recently stated that “We don’t need Tebow,” “We sell out every home game. Let him go to Jacksonville, Tampa or Miami.” But his tune quickly changed to a positive one when the Jets traded for Tebow.

In usual Tim Tebow fashion, he turned a controversy into a testament on how he is a great politician. Even though he can’t through a spiral, there are some things Tim Tebow can do and some other things he can’t do.

Match Made In Heaven

Another match made in heaven is Woodford reserve and lightly salty nuts.

It’s good to be back Delta! I just hope those rumors aren’t true.

Bottom Line

Don’t be a sheep, if you see a maintenance delay, make sure you call your airline and ask what the next available flight is to your destination. If they will give you protection, on a later flight, use it.

Delta Sky Club’s Biscoff and Nutella combination is a proven match, but we’ll have to wait to see if Tebow and the Jets will prove to be the same.
