Limited Time – 4x Fuel Points At Kroger With Clothing Gift Cards

Posted on: May 6th, 2013 by: The Weekly Flyer

Here’s another good idea on ways to save on gas and maximize points on your mother’s day purchases. Now through May 11, Kroger has 4x fuel points when you buy any clothing gift cards. My local Kroger has lots to choose from!

Kroger Fuel Points

How To Get 4x Fuel Points

If you buy $250 in clothing gift cards, Kroger is essentially offering $1 off/gallon of gas!

Then, try to use your gift cards on the Chase Ultimate Rewards shopping portal (if you have the Ink Bold® Business Card, Ink Plus® Business Card,Chase Sapphire Preferred®) to earn points. Here are some examples of stores.

Here is a sample of clothing stores and the points associated with purchasing through the Chase Ultimate Rewards shopping portal.

  • Nordstrom – 6x points
  • Macys – 3x points
  • Gap – 3x points

You can also use one of your Chase cards to pay the difference if there is one to earn even more points!

The Bottom Line

Saving money on gas is great when you can get gift cards for something that you need anyway, like a mother’s day gift! Using the Chase shopping portal to use your gift cards is just icing on the cake!
