Any Ultimate AAward trip to Scotland wouldn’t be complete without a stop to the Old Course at St Andrews to where the game began.
We stopped by the Rocca Grill at the Rusacks hotel for a nice dinner with a view.
It wasn’t pouring down rain on this day. The weather was unreal for an early Scotland day in June. We poured down a bottle of 2008 Segla to mark the occasion. The wine was fantastic! But the views and company were better.
Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.
This was one of my all time best happy hours. What was your best happy hour view?

There is never a shortage of things to do or places to see it seems on Kauai. Our two favorite activities on the island are located on the North Shore. The first is called Queen’s Bath because it is pool of water carved out of the rocks and protected from the crashing waves. The second… continue reading
Here’s tonight’s view as seen from seat 4A onboard a Delta 757-200 en route over Nebraska and Missouri. Quick update. As I was taking the last picture, I turned back to see if my drink order had been refilled. It was. But I found my seat mate drinking it! That’s a first for me. How… continue reading
American Airlines among other airlines is experiencing weather delays in and out of Dallas. Our hearts and thoughts go out to families effected by the storms. Consider checking out the Oklahoma Red Cross to help those effected by the storm. There are plenty of people that need and will appreciate the assistance. My original post… continue reading
The other day I shared what I thought was a pretty good sunset from our long weekend getaway location. There were several guesses and a few that came close to guessing the location. It might have been too difficult to guess given the lighting. We are fortunate to have a bank roll of points &… continue reading

All of the sudden, you have to worry about checking bags, entertainment options, sleeping times and going… continue reading
