American Airlines puts the almighty dollar in front of the safety of its passengers. My son has a severe peanut/tree nut allergy and we asked that for one flight the airline not serve peanuts/tree nuts products. We were told they would not honor that request. What’s the bigger cost to them, switching to pretzels or landing a 737 in an emergency due to a medical condition? American Airlines needs to understand the severity of the situation in not just with my son but with all people who have these types of allergies. They are very uncooperative and I am asking for people, not to ban the airline, but to write in in support of my son and to others with allergies.
