This month we highlight California’s Orange County with a four day, once-in-a-lifetime culinary adventure from July 24th-27th!
DAY 1 - Thursday, July 24 - Your Orange County getaway begins upon your arrival at the Orange County Airport - Santa Ana, where you will be picked up by Crystal Limousines and driven to the Hilton Hotel - Costa Mesa for four nights accommodations. Upon arrival at the Hilton Hotel, you’ll receive a welcome basket filled with California fresh produce, plus a beach bag for surf and turf adventures. Your culinary adventures begin with an evening at The Winery Restaurant, where Chef Yvon Goetz creates a savory experience. Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the largest and most comprehensive Whole Foods Market, spanning over 65,000 square feet of new foods and fresh tastes.
DAY 2 - Friday, July 25 - Enjoy breakfast at Old Vine Cafe’s serene setting before you begin your day as a special guest of the OC Fair, celebrating summer with the theme “Say Cheese!” Meet the resident cheese sculptor and try your hand at creating a sculpture made with California cheese. Explore the OC Fair’s Wine Courtyard, home to the largest and most comprehensive competition of California wines, where you will be joined by your personal sommelier to learn about award-winning California wines. End the fun-filled day at The Spa at South Coast Plaza, a rejuvenating oasis where you will be pampered and nurtured with a Bliss Aromatherapy Massage. Dinner this evening is at the chef’s table at Onotria Wine Country Cuisine.
DAY 3 - Saturday, July 26 - Saddle up for a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Ride in a cattle drive through city streets with over 300 Corriente steers. You’ll be one of over 100 riders on horseback parading through Orange County as part of the OC Fair Cattle Drive. The OC Fair will provide all you need for your ride, including cowboy hat and sunglasses. After you’ve had lunch and the opportunity to relax at the hotel, it’s off to a special dinner at Native Foods, an organic vegan/vegetarian restaurant designed to meet the needs of today’s discriminating, health-conscious diners - vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Wrap up the evening at the Alan Jackson concert at the Pacific Amphitheatre’s Summer Concert Series.
DAY 4 - Sunday, July 27 - You will start the day with a relaxing facial at Facelogic before taking a trip to one of Orange County’s best beaches. Executive Chef Mimi Rose of Dish Custom Cuisine will prepare a gourmet picnic basket for a sun-filled day in Laguna Beach. Enjoy delicious gourmet desserts created by Project Brownbag. After a sun and fun-filled day at the beach, enjoy a fresh seafood dinner at Bluewater Grill. Rock out under the stars at the Seal + Macy Gray concert at the Pacific Amphitheatre’s Summer Concert Series.
