The number of points required for redemption stays at Marriott Vacation Club resorts is about to change. Effective July 16, 2009, Marriott Vacation Club properties will be assigned hotel category levels, which means the points required for a free night at Marriott Vacation Club resorts will change. This new pricing applies to Marriott Vacation Club redemption reservations booked on or after July 16.

Marriott Rewards is counting MVCI nights towards qualifying for the next level of Marriott Rewards Elite status.
