@emily – I will do a detailed follow-up post on this, as noted, I fired that off before my flight to China. Barclays in particular is quite interesting!
@traveler – I have never applied for the Alaska personal, I keep hoping the 40k bonus will come back so this time I did the biz, partly because wanted to test getting 2 biz from BOA, never tried any biz cards with them…chalk it up to blog research.
@MilesAbound – yep, all on Monday, I do quarterly but sort of missed the September round, instead I had some August with Hilton Reserve x2 and the SPG 30k biz bonus + Amex Delta Plat bonus.
Amazed by Barclays. They have always been a challenge in my experience. I’m looking forward to more details!
