The Mercure Grenoble Centre Alpotel has tiny rooms with no space to set up an ironing board, so instead room 250 is The Ironing Room.
Guests do not get complementary bottled water but the thirsty iron is kept well-hydrated with Evian. Amazing. Nice radio, too.
What a hoot! Do they still polish shoes left outside the door at night?
@Cook – I didn’t even know to try that, in other respects this is the typical mid-range business hotel that Accor positions Mercure.
