Posted on: January 30th, 2009 by: Brian Cohen

Is no nudes good nudes?

FlyerTalk member Hammertoad asks the question Who moved my porn? after finding the wrappings of Playboy and Penthouse magazines ripped open and a card from the Transportation Security Administration, or TSA, stuck inside as a bookmark when Hammertoad unpacked.

I hope that Hammertoad is referring to the removal of belongings from his baggage when he uses the word “unpacked”

…anyway, you might be barely able to contain yourself when you read the responses posted to the Who moved my porn? thread. Please feel free to undress — er…I mean, address — them…

Posted on: January 28th, 2009 by: Kiwi Flyer

As a non-smoker I’d never heard of e-cigs, but apparently these devices form a similar function to nicotine patches to assist smokers in quitting.  However unlike patches they have an outward appearance of a cigarette.  Are e-cigs allowed in-flight?

Annoying? You Nailed That One Right!

It is not cuticle, appealing or flattering in the least when identified flying objectionable objects project haphazardly around the premium class cabin. File the click…click….click…Finger nail cutter in F thread under something that needs to be brought to the attention of the Emery Board for discussion in order for fellow passengers to polish up on their etiquette.

If you do not think fingernail projectiles are deplorable enough, FlyerTalk member PUCCI GALORE imparts a rather disgusting footnote involving the clipping of toe nails aboard an aircraft. Consider this fair warning that her tale is solely not for the squeamish.

At least one does not have to clip the click…click….click…Finger nail cutter in F thread to read it.

Has American Express Reduced Your Credit Line?

Posted on: January 25th, 2009 by: Brian Cohen

FlyerTalk members express their disappointment and disdain regarding American Express reducing their credit lines, regardless of how long they have been American Express cardmembers and whether or not they have ever reached their credit limit.

For example, FlyerTalk member airforcevet123 has posted Credit Line Reduced – Member since 1986, which has prompted FlyerTalk members to not only relate their stories but to also speculate on why American Express is taking this action, including the possibility that American Express may be in serious trouble.
