When is a Qantas group airline not a Qantas group airline? Like most others, Brewsterz didn’t realise airlines could be part of a group for some purposes and not for others. Check out the discussion on how the Qantas-jetstar arrangement can have serious impacts for travellers.

Mosquitoes can be frustrating, pestering and annoying, but they can also potentially be dangerous if they carry malaria and infect a person.

Delta Air LInes quietly announced yesterday that there will be a $50 2nd Checked Bag Fee on Intl Flights Effective 1 July.
As one can imagine, there is already a long discussion regarding this new fee amongst FlyerTalk members. Will it affect frequent fliers with elite status? Will it affect those passengers who purchased international tickets before this announcement but be on an international flight after this fee is already in effect? Will other airlines follow suit? Is this a good business decision by Delta Air Lines, especially in the middle of a bad worldwide economy?
What are your thoughts?

FlyerTalk member gemini_ii asks Is Rogaine allowed in either carry-on or checked baggage?
Rogaine is a product designed to better control hair loss and even grow new hair when applied.
Will gemini_ii have to deal with the follicles of the Transportation Security Administration, or TSA, or did other FlyerTalk members get to the root of the issue by answering gemini_ii’s request?
Whatever the answer may be, watch the thread magically grow without the use of Rogaine…
