Would you refuse an upgrade to F?

Has FlyerTalk gone mad? An op-up to first class is the holy grail for many, so why would some FTers be discussing whether or not they would refuse an upgrade to F?

Op-up denied

BlissWorld reported a fellow passenger had been denied upon boarding an operational upgrade given at check-in. Has this happened to you? What do you feel about it? Does it matter if the op-up was given “in error”? Link to the thread <here>.
