Arrival at Zimbabwe is by land (lots of buses from Johannesburg, less plentiful from other neighbouring countries) or by air. Airlines flying to Zimbabwe include:

  • Star Alliance – South African(to Harare and Victoria Falls)
  • Oneworld – British Airways (to Harare and Victoria Falls from Johannesburg)
  • Sky Team – Kenya (to Harare)
  • Other selected – Air Zimbabwe (from Harare and Victoria Falls)

TIP Despite the lack of longhaul flights (limited to Air Zimbabwe flights from Harare to Europe, Middle East and Asia), Zimbabwe is fairly easy to get to thanks to the proximity to Johannesburg and the tourist infrastructure at Victoria Falls in particular.

TIP Check fares to nearby airports – Livingstone airport is just over the Zambian border at Victoria Falls, and Lusaka airport may be an alternative for Harare.

    Good Idea for the people who wants to spent their vacation in some tourist place . I m contributing through this little information about Harare . Harare is very nice tourist place in African continent . Nice natural views , Beautiful beaches, parks ,bars hotels of international standard and much more for the recreation purpose . If you want to get in then you need to check for cheap flights to Harare . Hope you will enjoy there at low cost in vacations.
