For the next 4 months starting today, New York JFK has one less runway to use (out for resurfacing). Expect even longer delays than usual. I’ve made sure my trips through JFK in this period have very long connections to mitigate the expected delays.
Scott McCartney reports the first day isn’t going too badly so far.
