It is 1 mile for every $2 spent at Liquor Depots and Liquor Barns. 

2 weeks ago I was in a liquor store and I was asked whether I wanted to get Aeroplan miles, I was so surprised I don’t think I even understood Aeroplan but Air Miles, the same offered at Safeway that I do not collect, so I said ‘No’. Then I got curious, found out it was Aeroplan, said I changed my mind but I was told it was too late.

And the other day I received an e-mail from Aeroplan informing me of this promotion !? Quite late I would say, the promotion runs until March 31 so there is stil time, but I would expect to receive the e-mail just before or when the promotion starts not later. Also, I wonder whether I could spend my Friday and Saturday evenings at a liquor store and ask people to use my Aeroplan :) . Do the terms of the promotion allow me to?

    I will get $50 also, sorry about that.

    I thought that after being purchased by Scotiabank they will no longer have this double bonus promotion
    (usually it is $25), but they do have it at least for this year.

    I used to have a post with this ‘announcement’ but now I have decided to spam my own posts. I know it is pathetic but I am allowed to :) .

    Just give your “number” to all your alcohol addicted friends and family. That way everyone fuels their addictions. You for miles and them for booze!
