I've done Agra twice, both times day trips from Delhi (thus no sun rise for me). First time with a car/driver, second time by train. The experiences were different, but I actually liked the car trip better, because it took me through small villages on narrow "roads". Traffic coming back into Delhi was horrendous, though. On the flip side, the train on the way back was delayed, and so we spent a lot of time sitting on the platform at Agra waiting for it. Not the end of the world, given the "scenary". Overall, I enjoyed both trips.
