I avoid the upper deck on Air NZ. In business class I'd much rather be in the nose, and in premium economy it isn't so nice looking out at the flat beds while you have a seat. Then again, if I was flying in economy, I'd probably love it. But my one and only flight on Virgin, about 10 years ago, was pure torture due to the 31" pitch in economy.
