Check out my interview with The Points Guy

A couple weeks ago when I took my trip to Singapore I had the opportunity to meet up with a couple other folks while there. Just a few hours after arriving I found myself in little India sitting at a table with Brian from The Points Guy, enjoying a couple beers and talking travel and miles. Somewhat to my surprise, he actually wanted to record part of our conversation and share it with the world. I haven’t had a chance to watch the whole thing yet, but I recall the conversation being pretty entertaining at the time, particularly as the waiter arrived and didn’t seem to notice or care that we were actually recording.

Anywho, check it out here.

  1. Actually the waiter serving food added to the interview/ambience. Too bad it didnt show much of the food. Although the beer was in full display! Otherwise, it would have been sorta boring. Would have been a plus to talk about food at the Banana. Whoever did the camera work was not too experienced (you were in the background, sound was not clear, …)

    1. The food was OK; we stopped filming so we could actually eat and Brian had a flight to catch so there wasn’t a ton of time. Bismilliah Briyani (sp??) gets great reviews for their lamb in the neighborhood, though it is a bit more expensive (SGD$9 for a plate).
