The Qantas website is one of the top options for searching award inventory online when it comes to oneworld partners. A recent update to the site extends that functionality to now include the ability to search for award seats on their newest partner: Emirates.
For those of you who are fans of the Wandering Aramean Travel Tools oneworld award alerts tool, this update also means that you can now set free award alerts for flights on Emirates metal. Yeah, I’m pretty excited about that, too.

Do Qantas, AS and JAL see the same award space for EK?

@wayne: The number of points required for an award will depend on the program you are redeeming from.
Can you redeem Qantas miles for EK flights to the USA?
From what I’m seeing on the site, Joey, yes you can. Qantas redemption rates are generally not particularly attractive, but the option should be available to you.
I a huge fan of your award search tools. the $10 per year for elite status was well worth it. I love it.

Thanks for this post–I had not noticed the inventory yet, though it comes as no surprise. Did SQ fix the LA/XL problem in the update?
Can this tool be used to see inventory available for AS MileagePlan?
I believe it is the same inventory, Carl. No promises as I haven’t tried bookings, but I think it is the same.
I checked a couple LAN routes, Matthew, and BA still shows inventory while QF does not. Doesn’t look like that’s fixed yet.

Anyone know if this will eventually allow one-way flights to be booked from Dubai to Male on Emirates? Right now, it only shows one-stop flights.
Are there seats available on the non-stop flights? I don’t know of any reason they’d be hiding the inventory on that one flight.

Looks like there is no “H” fare bucket. That is the only thing I can figure out as to why it isn’t bookable. Frustrating.
