  1. Hawaiian reported earnings. The airline did bring up RASM nicely but CASM went up right with it.
  2. Thanks to Max Flight for posting this on Twitter – the recent results of the Smarter Travel reader poll. Southwest did very well.
  3. I’m guessing the readership of that publication is a bit different than that of Conde Nast – which voted Virgin America as the best domestic carrier.
  4. Republic also reported earnings.
  5. If any of you are like and use e-Rewards as a way to earn miles, you can now earn AirTran credit there.
  6. Cathay will be removing its five 777-200s from the fleet.
