I’ve been catching up on October traffic numbers, and Copa’s look pretty darn strong! Copa itself saw a 7.6 point increase in load factor on a 6.6% capacity boost and a 17.7% increase in traffic. Numbers for its Aero República subsidiary were even stronger. Capacity in terms of ASMs was up a mere 2.8%, with a 24.7% increase in RPMs, meaning load factor was up 13.2%.
Copa will be releasing its third quarter results later today. The average analyst expectation is earnings of $1.00/share.
