Loyalty traveler has published a new catergory distributionfor all USA hilton hotels, just for USA only, there are 65 category7 properties thatrequire 50K per night. I guess more than100 hotels fall in category 7 worldwide

A quick comparison to Marriott, total 12 hotels intop Category 8, but for only 40K per night and 5th night free, also points saver award.Since both programs offer10 points per dollar at most properties, HHonor points just become truly worthless. I don’t like Marriott program due to lack of elite benefits, but Hilton devaluation made Hilton become the worst!
