two Changes on American Airlines

1 Effective Feb 22nd, only following passenger will be allowed free standby

AAdvantage Executive Platinum®, AAdvantage Platinum® and AAdvantage Gold®, as well as oneworld® Alliance Emerald, Sapphire or Ruby members

Those who purchase tickets in First and Business Class as well as those who purchase unrestricted Economy Class fares (Y, B, H class of service)

Active U.S. Military personnel traveling on orders or personal travel and active U.S. Military dependents traveling on orders

Other than above, everyone can make same day change for $50.

2 American Airline will charge $8 for blanket and pillow on the plane. However, it’s a set and yours to keep for future use.

I would assume they sell you clean pillows and blankets. I guess I will never use blanket on the plane again, as my FA friend told me: “they(blankets) were rarely cleaned.”
