Finally, I have used all my Avis Gift cards!
Sometime last year, I purchased 6 Avis $50 giftcard from local Drug store and it turned out to be the worst gift card ever designed!!
1 You have to use Avis.com/Giftcard to book ur reservation
2 you can only use 1 card for each rental
3 No residual will be given, so your rental amount has to be greater than gift card face amount!
4 If you want to cancel giftcard reservation, u have to wait 24 hours before making a new one with this gift card.
5 Sometimes the value doesn’t go back automatically, then a nightmare starts. When u call the CSR number on the back of the card, they have no clue what u r talking about. I had 4 gift cards value did not go back automatically, it took me more than 15 phone calls to finally get a number for Corporate office. Then, a lady in Corporate office was able to reinstate the card.
Not worth the trouble!
