Choice hotels Stay 2, get 1 free night is back.

Stay 2 separate times with arrival between now and April 30th, they will add to reach the 8,000-point reward level.

Choice hotels points can be redeemed at Preferred Hotel Group and Barceló Hotels and Resorts

    I wish they would phrase these something like Stay two times and earn a free night at your choice from 20% of our hotel properties.

    There are very few 8,000 point hotels in my area.

    It is like when Hilton says sign up for a credit card and earn enough bonus points for four free nights. Yeah, four nights in your choice of 41 hotels out of our 3,500 hotels.

    I have never been so hoodwinked by a promotion in all my life! The ad says stay 2 nights, get the 3rd night free….which is a completely FALSE statement. I stayed in Comfort Inn for EIGHT nights….each time I called in for my free night…the first excuse was “it takes 72 hours to process” all the other excuses were “you don’t have enough points to stay in that hotel” Finally, I agreed to stay at a Quality Inn so I could use my free night. Made the mistake of calling ahead. End up the “MOTEL FROM HELL”!!!! the help was not to blame, they were very kind. The hotel was filthy! Infested with cricketts, that they tried to sweep up…had pieces of crickett bodies all over the floor….called company to get another hotel and of course, I lost my points and didn’t have enough to go to another motel! That is after staying in their top hotels between Ohio and Texas! for 8 nights!
    I have pictures…it was disgusting!

    This is a major scam! There is only one Choice Hotel I stay at (a Sleep Inn in Moab, Utah), and that’s only once a year. Otherwise this has never been my chain of choice.
    However, in light of the “stay-2-get-1-free” promotion, we stayed at 8 Choice Hotels last month only to discover the details which, incidentally, are not even disclosed in the fine print. By the end of the trip, however, we did finally get one night free at a Sleep Inn, which was clean and minimally comfortable.
    They won’t fool us again!

    I am having some difficulties with a Choice Hotel Promotion (from 2009 – stay 2 nights, get one free)and happened to notice some comments from others.

    Would like to hear from those who felt they might have been deceived or misled by this promotion.
