You can avoid Call center ticketing fees with Delta miles even on parnters award

We all know you can hold award ticket online for 48 hours if award can be found online including AF/KL/AS/DL, after holding the award, you call Delta to add some segments that can not be booked online. At same time, if you have reservation in front of you,just refresh the screen,  you can see what agent has done for you simultaneously. After the agent adds everything and tells you how many miles are required for the trip, you can immediately click redeem under your reservation and complete the booking yourself to avoid ticketing fee.  This is working on all reservations that Delta has electronic ticketing agreement with.Save some bucks for ticketing fees.

One more to add, the reason I mentioned “Delta has electronic ticketing agreement with” above is because there are cases you can book the award online, but can not be ticketed online. Very rare, such as Air France flight operated by Air Marituis. you can book online, but DL can not issue E-ticket due to this segment, has to call in for paper ticket. I just booked one for myself few months ago. :P

    @Goof, just tell them, you should be able to do it online yourself, ask them to stay on the phone with you. They always stay on the phone with me until I told them it’s done.
