Normally, when you do a program change, you don’t take out existing benefits to loyal customers, however, Shangri-La Hotels new program does exactly opposite.
current Elite member(stay 60 nights) will become diamond, but no more FREE Breakfast, no more upgrades, Executive lounge use will be limited. If a chain removes all benefits for their most loyal customer, why would they want to stay with the chain?
In addition, new program will be point based, you earn 1 point per USD, 50% bonus for Diamond member, not all hotels are super expensive, so it may take them 60 nights to get even 1 or 2 free nights at most.Again, Very bad change.

Follow the instruction posted here, all miles are posted today.
I am not unhappy with BMI on this promotion posting issue, in fact, I have never been unhappy with them because they always handled everything properly, sometimes slow, but it will be done. BMI has Joanna there to help us!
I know some people get angry because of late posting, but you should not if u are in mileage world long enough
1 you should never count on those promotion miles for your travel plan because almost all promotion carry a clause“bonus miles will be award 8-12 weeks after the end of promotion”
2 there is no need to contact them before end of posting frame because they probably will ask you to wait anyway. Don’t waste your time, just be patient.
When I just join the miles/points world, I always called them before end of posting frame, things never get done because they always told me “8-12 weeks”.
Now, I wait until end of posting frame, most missing miles/points can be posted with 1 call, so be patient!!! you will feel a lot of happier than wasting your time on phone.

Today, Joanna at Diamond Club finally made announcement on FT, due to changing data provider during the promotion, nearly all miles have to be posted manually, please send your Wyndham statements showing your stays over to the diamond club email address(diamondclub at bmiemail.com), offer was to receive a max 20k promo miles and any stays over and above 4 in this period would receive base miles only.
I was hoping the issue can be solved without manually post because I have to screen shot, copy, paste, email, too much work, but it’s the only solution now.

I have mentioned here about bonus posting problem for existing WR members. It is confirmed now!
If you did not enroll Wyndham Rewards via this link, you must contact WR customer Service to manually enroll BMIPRO10 for you, otherwise, bonus will not be posted!
Even if you enrolled via above link, but no bonus posted within 4 days after ur stay posted, contact CSR to check enrollment of BMIPRO10
I know there is no where mentioned u have to register, but u just have to, this is another example of their vague T&C caused trouble!

I have noticed that only new member who joined via this link will get bonus miles post automatically because it has a promotional enrollment code BMIPRO10.
For existing member, since there is no way to register for the promotion, be prepared for a flight to get those bonus miles back!

I just found this offer on BMI website, from Feb 3rd-Feb 28th, earn 5000 miles per stay and limit 4 times at any Wyndham®, Ramada®, Days Inn®, Wingate by Wyndham®, Baymont Inn and Suites®, Microtel Inns & Suites®, Hawthorn Suites®, Howard Johnson®, Travelodge® (U.S. hotels only) and Knights Inn® hotels.
change your rewards profile partner to BMI, then I guess miles will be posted automatically
It ‘s time to find some cheap Days Inn and Knights Inn!!! the cheapest I found in my area is 46 including tax, so that’s more than 100 miles per dollar spend
Don’t forget 2% cash back from Mr rebate+ 5% cashback from discover card

The Leading hotels of the World just introduce their new rewards program-Leaders Club Rewards effective Jan 1st,2010
The program reward is simple, for every 5 eligible stays with LHW, you will earn 1 free night certificate valid for any LHW properties
“The Leading Hotels of the World features small luxury hotels, resort hotels as well as world-renowned stately hotels offering all the possibilities for family getaways, romantic escapades and business meetings“
In order to earn stay credit, you must have ur LCR membership number in the reservation. I guess you can not double dip with other chains, even if the hotel belongs to other rewards program.
