Outlets at seats – oh yeah!

Steve did not tell us this wasgoing to be work! We arrived at the hotel about noon, had to research our tasks, were out by 2 p.m., back around 8 and now it is 11:30 p.m. and several of us are sitting at an Internet cafe still working (and they close in 30 minutes!) …with lots of empty beverage containers at our work stations! The great part is our competitors are all really cool and we are having fun with them. We wish we could remember everywhere we were today, but, well, we cannot. That may have something to do with the empty beverage containers…

A really cool thing … Thelma and Louise are loyal United flyers and so are not used to good service or even little luxuries. Well, we flew Continental and golly be, had power outlets at our seats! You can not imagine how excited we were. We could straighten our hair at our seats, curl our hair, use a blender to make margaritas, and , well, let us just say our imaginations went a little wild. ;-) We asked the flight attendants about our ideas and if anyone had tried them and they said we were the first they knew of to think of these things. We think Continental is missing an opportunity here …they need to market those plugs and all the opportunities they present to women flyers!

    Go team go!

Yes, if you’re used to the not so friendly skies, you start to imagine that that’s just the way it is. It’s good you had an inspiring experience with your new carrier. Hope the hair was curly enough in the right spot and straight where desired.

    Keep on smiling!
