Those of you that have ever dragged along a Polycom conference phone in your baggage will really appreciate this. Mobile accessories company Callpod makes a Bluetooth enabled conference hub that lets 5 Bluetooth headsets share a single Skype call or connect through a Bluetooth phone.
The device is battery powered (lasts up to 5 hours) and charges over USB. It’s the perfect device for people that have to make conference calls with others when on the road. It claims availability in December 2007 but with CES next week I’m sure we’ll hear more from them.
Just think how cozy it will be in your hotel room with 5 of your colleagues sitting around your tiny desk talking to the office back home! Just make sure they stay away from your minibar and Lodgenet remote!
