As a DISH Network employee I give you a few reasons why you should got with DISH if your thinking of getting TV everywhere. DISH is the only provider to offer all of your channels and DVR content at home. Comcast restricts the amount of programming available through authenticated content models online. DISH Network remote access app is free! Comcast customer do not have the ability to stream this content to your smartphone or iPad yet DISH does. If you would like more information about this you can go to the DISH Network website.

I've been obsessing over this device but haven't pulled the trigger and bought it yet. one thing no one has yet cleaed up for me is the PDA version. so, I know you need a internet connection to get the signal on your pc. but does this mean that you need to connect the slingbox to the internet as well when using a PDA. I was under the inpression that if you use you cell phone that they well communicate with each other using you phones internet service. in my case sprint EVDO. does both the cell phone and the slingbox need their OWN internet connection or does it communicate with the phone using its internet service (sprint EVDO)? I was told that you can set up a partnership with the phone and they communicate without the need for ethernet cables and two separate internet connections, is this true?
