Good review – here are a few recent changes as of June 2011:
You get 5GB of space with the FREE version, but now there is no restriction to the number of computers you can sync/backup (up from 2).
It gives you the ability to upload and sync any folder on your computer.
It is the only service that offers such a broad device and OS support with apps for BlackBerry, Android, iPhone/iPad, Symbian, not to mention your computer!

I was happy with Sugarsync until I got a new laptop, and tried to replicate my files. Boy, what a mess. I don’t know if it’s me or them, but nothing seems to be working. and there’s no way to contact them except by email — no chat or phone number. I am soo frustrated, I’m turning off Sugarsync, and going back to my trusty DVD-RW. The reason that I don’t know what’s going on is it doesn’t post a status or error message. And the changes I’ve requested don’t seem to be happening. I thought the idea was great — and I guess it is for backing up files from one computer. btw, there is versioning, if you right-click on the filename.
