  kindle

Another gadget bites the dust.

When I got my Kindle late last year I really thought it would be one of those rare long term gadgets.

But I was mistaken. I got bored with it, and it ended up in the bottom of a backpack, along with the other miserable gadgets that failed to keep my attention.

I’m really not sure why I didn’t become hooked, it could be because I’m just not much of a reader, it could be because the E-Ink display gets boring after a few days. But in the end it wasn’t to be. Farewell Kindle.

Ditto- I sent mine back. Somehow it just misses. Dull lettering, no pix, no light, irritating “Next and Previous”. Oh well.

I bought a Sony Reader when it first came out and still use it, especially on trips. The lack of light is a pain, but not a fatal error for me. I have been “eReading” on my Garmin iQue for many, many years so maybe I am just used to the concept.

I was going to try a Kindle when my Sony died, though from all I read Sony had better “human factors” engineers.
