I’m not sure whether it’s just a smart PR move, or if sales of the Kindle really are exceeding all their expectations. But it’s been close to six months since they first started selling the Kindle, and it’s still on a 6 week backorder. I’m actually quite grateful for this, because it meant I was able to sell my Kindle on Ebay for $120 more than I paid for it. Supply and demand is a great thing, if you are on the supply side of things.
