If watching grainy Youtube clips isn’t your cup of tea, then I highly recommend a trial of Netflix.
Last year, Netflix started offering some of their movies in a new streaming service. The collection of available videos has grown quite rapidly, and is now at the point where there is always something fun to watch.
The best part is the price; $8.99 for unlimited "watch instantly" movies and one movie at a time sent to your home.
This is quite a bit cheaper than most other online video services. Not every category of movies is equally well represented though, they seem to have a large number of foreign movies (lots of BBC content), but not many "blockbusters". The Netflix player only works in Internet Explorer, and only with Windows, so Mac users are going to have to find their flicks elsewhere.
Just remember; these are streaming movies, so you can’t download them to watch on your next flight, and you will need a fairly fast Internet connection.
