I've been using this app for some time now and I've never been charged for it. The one caveat I've found is that using it changes your simul-ring or forwarding options. When I review my simul-ring settings after using Vonage Talk, I find that my phone numbers are always replaced with "011" + .

Given that this tool is free and open source, I hope that it will get better over time, but doesn't seem to be actively develpoed or maintained.

YMMV,
Dave

This is great..... Always wanted a way to make calls on my laptop but couldn't justify the extra $$ for V-Phone when I'd only use it a few times a year at trade shows. Not to mention V-Phone is a separate phone number...... Has anyone tried this on a windows mobile device, like the samsung sch-I760?

Thanks for finding this. Does it work for inbound calls to your regular vonage number? If so, do inbound calls ring to this and your regular voip adapter at the same time?
