Wow… the Sprint rumors just won’t stop. The news du jour is that they are looking for ways to offload their Nextel purchase. Sprint acquired Nextel back in 2005, but the marriage hasn’t been without troubles.

Of course, with news of a possible merger between T-mobile and Sprint, this new news suddenly becomes more interesting (and believable).
