		<description>Thanks for the comments Ben. I agree with the poor history from Magellan. I gave someone a Magellan for Christmas and it broke down after a month. But they actually made things right by setting up an exchange within 7 days. I'd say that's pretty much on par with any electronics manufacturer. 

Of course, it's better if the thing wouldn't break in the first place...</description>

		<description>Be warned though - Magellan's customer service sucks if you have problems.  I've got about 140 comments over at http://ben-johnson.org/blog/archives/2005/10/158/ about how bad their service is.  

Basically, it can takes months to get a unit repaired, they disappear into black holes, they don't actually get fixed, etc.

Buy a Garmin or a TomTom.</description>
