Some airline passengers were stunned when they looked out their window and saw a 10 foot python. Qantas officials said “the flight from the Queensland city of Cairns to Papua New Guinea, took off early Thursday morning with the unintended passenger tucked into its wing.” “The snake was seen by passengers once (the plane) reached cruising altitude,” a Qantas spokesman told the AP. Passenger Robert Weber videotaped the struggle and told Australia’s Fairfax Media that the wind whipping the snake against the side of the plane left a bloody smear. I’m SO glad that’s one flight I was not on!!

Enough is enough! I have had it with these motherf***** snakes on this motherf***** plane!
Snakes outside plane much better than Snakes inside the plane. I didn’t know there was such a gap between the wing and the fuselage though (see how the snake is both on top and below the wind).
I guess at least they didn’t need to worry about calling animal control when they landed. Still, an unfortunate event.
Flew a few years back with three squirrels that made their way out of a carryon bag. Made for an interesting flight.
@John – wow, that would be an awkward flight!
