A Flyertalker visits the United Red Carpet Club in Los Angeles and finds these as snacks:

Well, at least there were snacks. Last time I went through there neither self-service coffee machine worked.

    Gary,

This has gotta be a hoax. No way would United put AA peanuts in their snack bowl.

    Got a laugh, though….

Gary, you should visit a Northwest WorldClub sometime. I know you coastal folks tend to avoid NW like the plague, but their clubs are vastly better than this pittance of an offering. Free wifi, free drinks, hot soup (MSP/DTW), chips/salsa, fruit, etc. in the WorldClubs. Things are looking a little better on the red tail these days.
