Sweet! I didn't even need to give the offer code. I just said, "I got a flyer enclosed in my Citibank statement and I'm calling about the survey." They said, "great, let me just get your checking account number..."

Of course, I didn't get that statement, but the rep didn't seem to be concerned about verifying anything other than looking up my account info and asking if I banked with any other banks.

Thanks!!

David, you have to tell them you got the flyer enclosed with your Citibank statement (offer ATTS) & that you're calling to participate in the "survey." I never actually got a flyer either, but after I spoke to the Citi rep about other Citi products (FYI, i's a very soft sell approach, & I wasn't interested), they told me I'd be credited with 6,000 Thank You points within 90 days.) Try again.

I just called them up and was told there was a mailer that went out on July 7th and therefore I was not eligible for this promotion. Weird...

Anybody know what is meant by "you should never use 6000 points for a $50 gift certificate. If you have an eligible account for fixed point redemption (and you should — get an Expedia Thank You Points account and combine your accounts into that one) you can get 3 cents a point in value" ? I've added my Citi Thank You # to Expedia, but I don't know how to get "3 cents a point in value." I'd appreciate more detail. TIA!
