A very neat tool, Twitterfeed for the frequent flyer set, it lets you automate your Facebook status update-bragging.

Lufthansa has introduced MySkyStatus, that lets you enter your flights and it will send altitude, location, departure and arrival updates automatically to your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Dear Facebook Friends who fly Lufthansa,

I don’t care about the current altitude of your flights, and I’m guessing most of your other facebook friends don’t either. ;)

And in the event of a water landing, do you REALLY want your loved ones to hear about it first via twitter? Just sayin’

    Love,

    Missy

I don’t recommend it. one of my fb friend installed it, and I was informed he landed in Austin about 7 or 8 times. I’m guessing his plane only landed once, though.

maybe it bounced a lot during landing ;)

Question: Do all of these people have armed guards or Rottweilers at home? ‘Cuz I sure try not to advertise it to the entire world when my house is unoccupied.

http://www.flightmemory.com has an option to tweet your flights, and is not limited to an individual airline.
