A little birdie tells me that the 100,000 mile offer for a new British Airways Visa will end today.

It’s an incredible promo, which I’ve described how to leverage (family accounts, two cards and $32k in spend, will get you 480,000 miles worth of travel.)

But if you’ve been on the fence, ACT NOW before the offer disappears.

Now, I’m hoping that the link stays around for awhile. Sometimes even after offers ‘expire’ they still ‘work’. But if you’ve even considered getting the card you really should act today, though I hope my source turns out to be wrong (though there’s no reason why he should be).

Update:: Most of the links are dead. This application still shows the bonus (thanks, Flyertalk!). If you apply, be sure to print out the page showing the bonus in case you have to followup to get the points.

    look like it’s gone already.

    What happened to 90 days?

    I had the link saved.
    It’s now back to the old 30K mile offer.
    What a shame.

    The link in the flyertalk milesbuzz thread still seems to work.

    I signed up a month ago, just got the card two days ago. Not sure what is up with that. But, I received what APPEARS to be a regular BA card and not some SIGNATURE card. I am hoping that I am not SOL with the bonus, which is the only reason I signed up in the first place.

    The link in the flyertalk milesbuzz thread is still working. I just used it to apply and got the standard chase reply. Thanks Nick for the link and Gary for the warning.

    Just signed up for the wife and I via the direct link from the FlyerTalk thread. Here’s hoping I get approved and the miles are still earned despite the BA website text changing.

    @Oliver, I suspect we had the same little birdie.

    Please make your little birdie promise to process today’s applications even though the original link no longer links to the original deal. :)

    was this a change up? they said the offerf was good through until 12/31/09? Or was it up until that date? Did they pull a change because they lost so much money on the $40 India flight fiasco. Shame on you BA if that is the case. boooooooo!

    I had no success in printing the page either to my printer or to a PDF file. The graphic that describes the terms of the offer with 100k bonus doesn’t ever show up when choosing to print. Did anybody else have success printing the application page with the offer showing on the left of the page? I used firefox, internet explorer, and opera with no success.

  13. tivoboy said,

    I managed to print and save as pdf

    @JohnDoe

    John, go to: tools->internet options->advanced->printing
    make sure that “print background colors and images” is checked.

    then it should print fine.
