The offer requires that you

contact the Member Service Centre at goldpointsplus@carlson.com or call +44 207 949 0379 and mention the promotional code indicated in your XING promotion (Code: OPBCSL09).

Now, Silver status doesn’t get you a ton.

But it does get you “Our World, Your Lounge” benefits in Europe, Middle East, and Africa: elite members are welcome any time in any hotel for a free coffee, tea or hot chocolate for two people and to use free wireless internet.

This is really a nice benefit that doesn’t cost the hotels much at all but really creates a feeling of belonging and a special relationship with the hotel chain for its elite membership.

Just to clarify, regarding the free drinks and internet,” “Our World, Your Lounge.” – Cardholders can pop-in at any Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts and enjoy a free hot drink for two and free Internet access. No need to have a room at the hotel!”

    Hi, Gary,

Remember there was offer last year from Orange mailing, you can get Silver status right the way and fast track to Gold? This one still works

don’t know offer OPBCSL09 has fast track to gold or not.

combine with first Q 50K bonus for 5 stays, not too bad.

Sorry if I’m being slow, but want to make sure before I make an *** out of myself in an e-mail to them:

“and mention the promotional code indicated in your XING promotion (Code: OPBCSL09).”

Does this mean that the “code indicated” is the code they’re spelling out right there? Just e-mail that code and you get the silver status? I work across the street from a Radisson Blu in Europe, so “Our World, Your Lounge” would be brilliant!
