This Flyertalk thread notes a bonus to celebrate bmi becoming a new partner with Wyndham Rewards: 5000 bmi miles per stay through February 28.

The bonus can be earned a maximum of 4 times, doesn’t require registration, just choose bmi miles as your earning preference and provide your Diamond Club number.

I guess I’ll be scouring the area for a cheap Knights Inn or HoJo’s that I can check in and out of four times this month for 20,000 miles…

Update: From the comments, beaubo notes that bmi now allows household accounts, so “that 20K up to 6 people, amplifying to 120K BD which is a US-Asia Business Class roundtrip with no co-pay!!!”

    Thank you! I was thinking about Priceline-ing SFO, but for under $40 all in + 5k BD, I’ll stay at my regular Travelodge. :-/

    5K maybe = $100, but 20K = one way Business Class ticket US-Europe for $210 plus tax…which is FAR more than $400.

    @beaubo- that “plus taxes” is not to be taken lightly!
    They could add a few hundred on to the cost of a ticket.

    @beaubo — Maybe no copay, but probably $400 – $500 in taxes and fuel surcharges.

    Zone 3 (USA) – Zone 8 (China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) is 80k roundtrip when paying miles only in Econ class, x a factor of 1.5 for Business Class, so 120k for Business like you said.

    Zone 3 – Zone 7 (Bangladesh, Borneo, Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand,Vietnam) would cost 100k in Econ r/t, 150k in Business. So big difference between N Asia and SE Asia.

    The best value redemption I see when paying miles only is US – the South Pacific on Air NZ flat bed business class –> 120k roundtrip w/ no co-pay. :)

    Also, where are you getting 20k + $210 for a 1-way from US-Europe?

    BMI award chart shows:

    50000
    (25000 + £170)

    So by my math a 1-way in C/J equals =

    12,500 x 1.5 +£85 x 1.5 = 18,750 + £127.50

    One correction on the family accounts. You can actually have 8 accounts as part of a household account, not 6. So there’s up to 160,000 bonus miles available.
