Yeah, this only lasted about six months the last time (I mean the signup, not the sub which lasts at LEAST six months using my special trick).
There is an FT thread that tracks this an other deals for the wsj, this one comes around every few months.
I did this about 7 months ago. It worked rather smoothly.

I meant to add if you don’t bother with Rewards Gold, it is free and 3200 point option isn’t meaningful.
