I covered the launch party over the weekend, including dates, trip details, and pricing.

Mommy Points was there and offers her own take on the evening as well.

Heels First Travel attended and won an advance booking opportunity, plus United 1K status. And shrieked.

Pizza in Motion seems excited.

    Had I won 1k (or any status for that matter) I would still be shrieking! Well deserved shriek. ;)

    I’m thrilled. I won Hyatt Diamond status through 2013. The very next prize was 1k which would have been the prize I won had Jeff not passed on the Hyatt Diamond status he won during the previous drawing.

    The best part is the proceeds from the raffle raised I think close to $4k for Live Strong.

    Wow, I didn’t know they did a Status giveaway at the launch party. That is awesome! I’m excited to see if Star Alliance steps up their game after the OneWorld MegaDO. I’m hoping that United does some kind of status challenge like AA.
