This promotion starts at 11:00am EST today, January 16, 2013 and ends 10:59am EST tomorrow, January 17, 2013.

Earlier this week I posted that Hilton was offering up to 40% off weekend stays through their “Any Weekend, Anywhere Sale.” I also mentioned that starting today at 11am EST they would be offering a 24 hour promotion where anyone who books a hotel through this sale rate will also receive 2,500 points per stay (up to 10,000 points per account). As mentioned, these rates are non-refundable, so be 110% sure of your reservation – if you aren’t, hold off as 2,500 points isn’t anything to write home about, so you won’t be giving up much. But, if you are confident of your plans, you might as well book, free is free!

For participating hotels, the following discount will apply:

  • North America: up to 15% off
  • South America: up to 15% off
  • Asia: up to 25% off
  • Australia: up to 25% off
  • Africa: up to 33% off
  • Middle East: up to 33% off
  • Europe: up to 40% off

to earn the additional 2,500 bonus points per stay, you will need to register for this promotion on the Hilton Facebook profile (registration doesn’t open until 11am EST today). While I am not 100% sure, it does seem like stays booked under the “Any Weekend, Anywhere Sale” prior to today might still be eligible for the 2,500 bonus points. As it states in the promotion terms and conditions:

To claim your 2,500 Hilton HHonors Bonus Points: After you have booked your Any Weekend, Anywhere Sale stay, you will need to re-visit the 24-Hour Flash Bonus Offer app on the Hilton HHonors Facebook page during the 24-Hour Flash Bonus Offer period (11:00am ET on January 16, 2013 to 10:59am ET on January 17, 2013) and enter in your confirmation number and your Hilton HHonors number in order to claim the 2,500 Hilton HHonors Bonus Points. The Hilton HHonors Bonus Points will be posted in your Hilton HHonors account 4 to 8 weeks after your stay has been completed.

Also remember, in addition to the discounted stay and 2,500 bonus points, you’ll receive double stay credit for each stay of at least two nights under this rate. This is pretty good to meet your status requirements for the year, especially with the recent non-favorable change of earning status at Hilton.

  • Matt said,

Does the double stay credit mean that you only have to stay 2x for this promotion and meet the 4stay reqt for the fast track to Gold status?

  • dealswelike said,

@Matt – Typically double stay/night promotions do not get counted in the fast track to Gold status promotions.
