Uber $20 Referral Credit Promotion Ends Friday

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here. Additionally, some of the offers on this page may no longer be available through Deals We Like.

For awhile now Uber has been offering $20 referral credits when signing up for a new account from an existing member. This enhanced promotion is set to expire this Friday April 25th, after that the referral credit will go down to $10 for new users. The good thing is that you do not need to actually use Uber by this Friday, simply just sign up. And, the $20 credit does not expire!

Additionally, the person who refers you will also receive either $10 or $20 in credits – $10 if you use your credits post April 25 and $20 if you use your credits within the next two days.

And as I mentioned the other day, there are currently two cities where you can ride Uber for free!

  • Free Uber Rides in Tampa: Through Friday, you can take an unlimited number of Uber rides for free in Tampa and St. Petersburg (up to $50 per ride). No promotion code needed. However, availability will be limited since Uber is still in the testing phase in this area. More info here.
  • Free Uber Rides in Cleveland: Through end of day today, you can get up to 5 free Uber rides (up to $25 per ride) in the Greater Cleveland area. No promotion code needed. More info here.

Lastly, if you are in Toronto, you can get 20% off your Uber ride going to/from Hard Candy Fitness Locations. Use promotion code HCFRide to receive 20% off 2 trips (up to $10 each) starting or ended at Hard Candy Fitness Locations. This promotion ends at April 30, 2014.

Here is my referral link if you want to use it to get the $20 in referral credits. As always, thanks for supporting the blog and enjoy traveling on a deal!

In the past I’ve allowed others to post their referral link, however, going forward I cannot allow it as it goes against Uber’s referral policy and you risk the chance of having Uber closing your account and losing all of your credits.
