999 enterprize cars

On my 12,000+ MQM mileage run next week I will overnight in SJC but all the SPG hotels close to the SJC airport are way too much money (well too many SPG points as I try never ever to pay for a hotel room with “money”)! I love that either cash, cash & points or all points count this year for stay credits toward my Platinum status.

Anyway, I found a deal on a car from Enterprise for $8.88 plus tax and the all in rental, even with gas, should not cost me more than $20! This way I will drive a few miles to a hotel and save 6000 SPG points that are worth almost $100 to me. But that is not this deal.

This Enterprise deal is $9.99 / day for off-airport locations and for weekend rentals. You can stretch it a bit if you play with the pick-up and drop-off times. But please keep in mind you are LIMITED how many miles you can drive on this deal to 100 miles per day but over a 2 or 3 day weekend rental most times that is enough for my needs.

Lastly, (and this must have been what broke Delta.com yesterday ;-) ), there is a 2x miles offer in/out of some SEA flights and, are you ready, ANYONE can register! I am SHOCKED! – René
