US Airways app finally released

After a false start over the weekend the long awaited US Airways app is finally released.
I’m flying out tomorrow so I used the app to check in.  First off although I had logged into my account it didn’t seem to pull up my itineraries if I went into “Check in.”  I had to type in my confirmation # or dividend miles number.  On any other application it pulls it automatically and I just click on the itin to check in.  I backtracked to “My Trips” and from there I did not see any thing that indicated I could just click and check in.  This is a huge gap in my books.

All the app does is intercept boarding passes you have emailed to yourself.  It doesn’t save them with the itinerary but rather in the boarding pass wallet.  At this point I’m so accustomed to saving my US Airways boarding passes in Passbook I think I’ll just keep doing that.

Other deficiencies are although with the Delta app if I search for clubs it will use my location to find clubs near me, the US Airways one just lists all of the clubs.
