Did you know that when you book award travel, you can make your points go further, much further, by taking advantage of loose airline rules concerning stopovers, transfers, and open-jaws? When redeeming miles, it is often possible to visit multiple cities, or even book multiple separate trips for the same number of miles as a single ticket. Taking advantage of this is fairly complicated and the rules vary from one airline to the next, but the potential benefits are huge.
